An evening of connection and celebration to welcome RAAIE’s golden newcomer.
On a glorious spring evening in November, the RAAIE community came together for a truly memorable evening, marking the launch of our Golden Nectar Mānuka Enzyme Cleanser.
Beloved friends, old and new, loyal customers, early supporters, and more, joined us for our very first soiree, or should we say party… Our guestlist? Beyond enamouring. The dress code? Chic. Proscuitto, endives and grapes? Oui. The drinks menu? Refreshing as a cold swim.
It was truly a celebration, as golden as it was meaningful. The evening kicked off in the luscious courtyard of Kenko Studios. There’s nothing quite like spring sunshine on the skin, especially after a long winter. We truly felt the warmth from more than just the sky.
Beginning RAAIE has been no small feat for our team the last two years, with us often searching for the opportunity to reflect, a rare feat to strive for in the fast-paced nature of a small business. The night felt like the ultimate moment to truly stand back, pause, and feel proud. This gathering for our cleanser was our way of opening a new chapter.
Cleansing — a centuries long ritual, has forever existed as a grounding beauty practice. The approach of the practice is unique to each person, but the reset it provides is forever overarching. And perhaps, underappreciated.
With the ever-accelerating speed of the beauty and wellness industry, cleansing is often an overlooked step. Here at RAAIE, we like to move slowly. We knew we needed to get it truly right.
An effective skincare routine is nothing without a good cleanser - just as health is simply an idea without a good diet.
As our Founder Katey Mandy mentioned in her speech during the evening:
“Our intention was to create a cleanser that works in synergy with the rest of the range — always. That meant it couldn’t be too harsh or strip the skin, as our other products are quite active. It needed to be super effective, but super gentle.”
Mānuka honey, the cleanser’s star ingredient, feels like a true homecoming for us. The merging of ancient wisdom with the latest in science touches every detail at RAAIE
